One thing that needs checking is how many of those unvaccinated people in the hospitals and ICUs were people for whom it was deemed medically inadvisable to vaccinate -- we thought them so old and frail that even a mild bad reaction to the vaccine might kill them, or their cancers have just gone into remission, or they are on strong immuno-suppressant drugs, and so on and so forth. All of these people could be expected to end up seriously ill with covid should they catch it, but it is disingenuous to claim that this says anything about the effectiveness of the vaccines. What you are measuring is how dreadfully sick people deemed too sick to be vaccinated are.

I think the Omikron SSI Report from Denmark is quite revealing. They have less then 5 patients in ICU with Omikron: https://files.ssi.dk/covid19/omikron/statusrapport/rapport-omikronvarianten-31122021-ct18

In newer reports it isn't included anymore i think.

Yeah, it kind of dampens the utter dread a little bit I think.

I have been following Sweden data for almost two years now, since the time of Anders Tagnell. Always thought you people were on the right track. But now realizing (after reading your posts) that your system is also corrupted, just a little less so🤦‍♂️

The covid data are inflated in other jurisdictions as well. Here is an example:

"Tasmania has 23 patients with COVID in hospital, ...

Of all hospitalisations, 10 are specifically being treated for COVID symptoms."
