Big loving prayers for your dog, Johan...

As regards any regulation or suppression of so-called 'hate speech', forget it. It's the old cookie-jar mentality. If you can't have something, the impulse is to go and get it. Suppression leads to repression and society as a whole can't function with this level of control, and like a fetid pustule it explodes with poison.

The entire idea of 'hate speech' is defined and moderated by the abusrdist woke mob that are hell-bent on creating this dystopia. On the other hand, free speech, meaning completely free speech including what is defined as 'hate' (mostly political and ideological dissent) leaves us to sort it out among ourselves with our own intelligence and maturity.

But the dumbing down of not just America but the entire world enables this moralistic twaddle to continue unabated. Go on, hate me if you can!

Thank you so much. It means a lot.

"Suppression leads to repression and society as a whole can't function with this level of control, and like a fetid pustule it explodes with poison."

Yeah, I couldn't agree more. I think this entire project is utterly destructive. I'm trying to get that point across as... Tactfully as possible. Using key terms such as "shitshow" and "dystopia".

Right! I mean, I've probably had more fruitful exchanges over the long-term with people who did their best to (digitally) stab me in the face with an ice pick. If we kept at it, they for the most part did their very best to challenge my views, positions and ideas, which often forced me to think them through to the very end OR ACTUALLY CHANGE MY POINT OF VIEW

You're welcome. Dogs hold a special place in my heart. I've looked after so many...

As for changing your point of view, I can relate except with a core exception: each time my views have changed have been deeper into the rabbit hole, not out of it. Anyone who has questioned my views has pushed me further in by the sheer nonsense of their accepted 'logic'.

Just watch Sam Harris's video on Good Citizen's latest post and you get the idea, the unquestionable 'authority' of his false assumptions.

And sometimes it's not so much about thinking things through but by deep intuitive knowing and personal experience. Arguments for the existence of God, for example.
