All truckers are fascist, big pharma saved the world

On the current discursive momentum pt. 2

Perhaps you thought it would be over.

That not only the lockdowns will be lifted due to the relentless popular pressure bordering on outright revolt, but that this whole authoritarian edifice would collapse. That the incipient tyranny would just pop like so many soap bubbles, its rotting remains drying out in the early springtime sun.

Sorry to say, it’s not going to be quite that easy.

Right now, the Austrian government is promising to lift the restrictions, also for the unjabbed. So very gracious of them. But they will nonetheless implement mandatory vaccinations from February 1. The head of the Austrian chancellor’s Bioethics Commission even desires to expand the mandates, and is pretty giddy over the coming era of medicalized authoritarianism.

Sweden is also removing restrictions in a couple of weeks, yet it was just announced that a majority in the parliament is supporting the cross-sharing of private data on citizens throughout the entire government apparatus and its NGO auxiliaries.

I guess that doesn’t make much of a difference to a country that outsourced the handling of its transport agency’s entire cache of classified data to foreign contractors since it’s leaking like a sieve anyhow, but this sort of move is so obviously a legal prelude for establishing a throughly integrated digital identification.

Just think about it. With full institutional distribution of data, they could in principle satisfy each and every point in the GDPR regulation, and at the same time funnel every bit of your neatly anonymized personal data into a universally accessible digital ID.

The travel agency doesn’t need to know precisely why you’re banned from flying.

So here’s what’s going to happen.

The establishment, incidentally supported by much of the self-identified left, like bulls attacking a red cape, will keep screaming fascism and bloody murder over the surprisingly diverse and politically broad global protests against history’s most extreme extraction of wealth from the working class as well as the implementation of the most invasive authoritarian control structure ever attempted.

The irony is not lost, no.

All of us dissidents will be painted as extremists and terrorists, irrational all the way through, while the mass media will affirm every step of the Western covid politics as entirely reasonable given the information at the time, and beneficial in retrospect.

The lifting of the lockdowns will finally be attributed to the glorious achievements of corporate pharmaceuticals and domesticated science. The digital control structure of the “good health pass” will be subtly nudged onto us as a judicious precaution in the face of the inevitable deluge of coming pandemics and “variants”.

But it’s a long war, and we’re not going to lose it.
